WPL 2023, Mumbai Indians Women Full Squad: Complete guide on squad and schedule of Harmanpreet Kaur-led MI

Mumbai Indians (MI) will look to replicate their IPL dominance in the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 which is set to kick start from March 4. Under Harmanpreet Kaur's leadership MI are one of the strongest teams and the most balanced sides in the glitzy league. The Mumbai-based franchise broke bank to bag the star players in the WPL league auctions. They first garnered eyeballs by roping in India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur for a whopping Rs 1.8 crore. MI dropped another bomber by bagging the services of England's star player Natalie Sciver for a mammoth deal of Rs 3.2 crore. Their appetite to sign big players wasn't satiated as they went on for a hunt of some more big fishes. MI then preyed on Pooja Vastrakar and Yastika Bhatia's big signings as the star Indian duo were sold for staggering Rs 1.9 crore and Rs 1.5 crore respectively. The Mumbai-based franchise also invested on New Zealand's Amelia Kerr, who got a dream deal of Rs 1 crore. 

 

MI also have the star-studded coaching staff as former England skipper Charlotte Edwards have been appointed as team's head coach while India's bowling legend Jhulan Goswami will be seen mentoring the side.
