South African women brought their ace all-round show to the fore to thrash West Indies by 10 wickets in the fourth T20I of the Women's Tri-Series at Buffalo Park on Wednesday (January 25).

Bowling first, Nonkululeko Mlaba rattled the West Indies batting line-up with her splendid spell of 4-2-7-1 as the Caribbeans were restricted to just 97/6 in their stipulated 20 overs. Laura Wolvaardt (42*) and Tazmin Brits (50) made the light work of West Indies' lowly target with 10 wickets and 38 balls to spare.

The result knocked West Indies out of the competition. The West Indies play India Women in their final match of the Tri-Series at the same venue on Monday January 30.

Earlier, Hayley Matthews (34 off 26) and Shabika Gajnabi (33 off 34) stitched together a 61-run partnership to save West Indies from blushes and took the team's total to 97/6. But South African bowlers were in some other mood. Tumi Sekhukhune was the pick of the South African bowlers as she returned with 24/2 followed by Nonkululeko Mlaba's economical spell of 7/1.

The South Africa Women reached 98/0 in 13.4 overs. For the West Indies, Karishma Ramharack had the most economical bowling figures of 3-0-17-0.
