Five times FIFA World Cup champions Brazil have made easy work of the group stage matches and qualified for the round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar with a game to go. However, the Selecao missed the services of their star forward player Neymar in the game against Switzerland which Brazil won with a slender lead of 1-0. In Brazil's opening match against Serbia with eleven minutes to go, Neymar sustained an injury in his ankle which has ruled him out of all the group stage matches. The Brazilian management are confident that the star player to bounce back from his injury to lead the team to their elusive sixth FIFA grand Prix in the games to come.

With the original Neymar cooped up on the sidelines to recover from a sprained ankle, Neymar's doppelganger garnered fans flocking to him for pictures as the people besieging him for pictures were either fooled or just ecstatic for a picture taken with a Neymar look-alike.

The Neymar doppelganger goes by the name of  Sosia Doney and has fetched followers on social media to the tune of nearly 9 lakhs. He seems to revel in the fact that he is often confused with Neymar which results in people wanting to take pictures with him.

Neymar's doppelganger also posted some of the videos on his official Instagram handle @sosiadoney. "I couldn't watch yesterday's game. Someone comment here in the comments the SCORE, please," read the caption of the video shared on Instagram with a laughing emoticon.
Other Instagram videos posted by Neymar's doppelganger show him walking on the streets of Doha, clicking selfies with fans and signing autographs.
He has pounced on the opportunity of gaining more popularity through the video which has gained traction on social media and has spurred on comments from people in the comment section.

"The players looking at you," read a comment on the video with laughing emoticons. "Put the man to play because the real one is at the doctor," suggested another. "Bro, you have to enter the Qatar stadium with the national team clothes and pretend to play," wrote a third with a laughing emoticon.
