Bryan Robson is all praise for Martin Odegaard, and the former Manchester United player believes that the Arsenal star deserves to be known as the best player in the Premier League. The 68-year-old has admired the way the Norwegian plays and said has stated that the Gunner star is as good as the other recognized players are in the league.

Here is what former Man United player thinks about Arsenal star

As per Robson, who started his career with West Bromwich Albion in 1972, Odegaard should be known as the best player in the Premier League, as of now. During a conversation with OLBG, the former midfielder said:

“I think Odegaard is as good as anybody.”

He further, as per the aforementioned source, said:

“He’s an excellent player, has got a great attitude, so I’d probably say in the Premier League at the moment, he would be the best.”

Meanwhile, Odegaard is currently recovering from an injury that he sustained during the team’s 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. The 26-year-old was forced off the pitch following a collision with teammate Jurrien Timber and the opponent’s Morgan Gibbs-White. The Norwegian was replaced by 18-year-old youngster Ethan Nwaneri. The Gunners are currently standing in second place on the Premier League table, following Liverpool.

Captain Odegaard made his debut against the Red Devils in January 2021 and the former Real Madrid player has made his journey very impactful with the Premier League side. With Odegaard’s injury, the Arsenal star has joined the likes of Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus back on the sidelines as they deal with a number of key fitness concerns.

The Gunners, who knocked out Real Madrid from the Champions League last season, opened their UCL campaign with a 2-0 win over Athletic Club, all thanks to the strikes from substitutes, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. Five games into the season, Mikel Arteta’s side have conceded just one goal so far, which was Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield. The team are set to face Manchester City next in an important fixture at home.
