The Cameroonian international has consistently impressed in the top-flight, scoring nine goals in each of the last two campaigns, and has taken his game to new heights this season with 13 goals in just 20 appearances. Having showcased his skills in the Championship, where he netted 23 goals over two seasons, Mbeumo has now established himself as one of the Premier League's top stars.

As the player carries speed, control, and has the ideal finishing of a forward and interest from top clubs was expected. Manchester United, who have been facing crises in the goal-scoring region for a prolonged period could rope him in the January transfer window.
