Other scorers for India included Maninder Singh, who opened the account in the 2nd minute, Pawan Rajbhar (13th minute), Sukhvinder (21st minute), Dipsan Tirkey (22nd minute), Jugraj Singh (23rd minute), and Gurjot Singh (29th minute).

 

On the Malaysian side, the scorers were Ismail Asia Abu, the team captain who struck in the 4th minute, Akhimullah Anuar with two goals (7th and 19th minutes), and Muhamad Din, who also found the net in the 19th minute. Despite their efforts, Malaysia could not hold off the Indian onslaught.
