Initially, the Yoddhas' hopes for a turnaround on their home turf seemed doubtful. The team's star player, Pardeep Narwal, experienced a challenging start, only managing to score his first point on his ninth raid of the night. The Bulls, however, were not without their struggles. Both teams faced difficulties, particularly during the Do-or-Die raids in the middle of the first half, which highlighted their vulnerabilities.

The momentum of the game shifted dramatically in the final minute of the first half. Narwal regained his form, executing two successful raids in quick succession. This impressive performance by Narwal brought the Bulls down to just one player as the halftime whistle blew.

The second half saw the Yoddhas gaining control early on, achieving the first All Out and establishing an 18-14 lead. However, the Bulls showed resilience, continually challenging the Yoddhas and ensuring the lead remained narrow. The game saw a head-to-head battle with each raid met by an equally strong response and smarter tackles. Notably, Saurabh Nandal stood out in the Bulls’ defense with an exceptional four successful tackles out of five attempts as the match approached its final five minutes.
