The match started with both teams playing cautiously, resulting in only 5 points scored in the first 5 minutes. Initially, the Steelers seemed to be gaining an upper hand, building an 8-3 lead after reducing the Pirates to just one player on the mat. However, the Pirates quickly turned the tide, thanks to Sachin's vital contributions. He not only tagged two defenders to avert an All out but also executed a solo tackle on Vinay, leading to a Super Tackle. By the 10-minute mark, the Pirates had narrowed the gap to 7-8 and drew level three minutes later with a Super Tackle by their captain Neeraj Kumar.

Sudhakar M showcased his skills brilliantly in the 15th minute, evading Jaideep Dahiya and Ashish, setting the stage for the Pirates to lead 15-10 following an All out. Shivam Patare did offer some resistance for the Steelers, but the Pirates maintained their momentum to end the first half ahead with an 18-15 lead.

In the second half, the Pirates' defense was particularly effective, earning 6 tackle points in the first 10 minutes, leading to a second All out. Sachin, the Pirates’ lead raider, also made significant contributions in defense. An impactful dash by Ankit on Shivam in the 29th minute helped the Pirates to extend their lead to 30-21.

The Pirates continued to assert their dominance, with Manjeet achieving a Super 10 against his former team by eliminating both Mohit Nandal and Mohit. Krishan's capture of Ashish earned him a High 5, fueling the Pirates to a third All out in the 36th minute, which expanded their lead to a substantial 16 points at 41-25.

Although the Steelers’ Rahul Sethpal completed a High 5 and Vinay surpassed the Super 10 mark, these efforts came too late to alter the course of the match. The Pirates confidently sailed to a 13-point victory, underscoring their prowess and teamwork in a commanding display.
