It has been officially confirmed by Tricon Garage that Corey Heim will continue racing full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for a third season in 2025. The 22-year-old driver, who has already made a significant impact in the series, will look to build on his success as he gears up for another championship run in the coming year.

A Rising star in the Truck Series

Heim, currently a top contender for the 2024 championship, will compete in the final race of the season this Friday at Phoenix Raceway. With a remarkable performance this year, including six wins in 22 races, Heim has proven himself as one of the best drivers in the Truck Series. His consistency and skill have propelled him to the top of the standings, and he remains one of four drivers still in contention for the championship.

Heim has become a key figure in the Truck Series, with his impressive stats backing up his success. He made his mark in the national series in 2021 with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) before moving to Tricon Garage in 2023 after KBM ceased operations.

In his first season with Tricon, Heim clinched three victories and finished with an average finish of 6.8. Despite narrowly missing the championship in 2023, finishing third at Phoenix, he has continued to grow as a driver and is now considered one of the most promising talents in NASCAR.

A strong partnership with Toyota Racing

While there were other opportunities on the table for Heim, he emphasized his desire to maintain his partnership with Toyota Racing, which he credits for much of his development.

“There’s always options on the table, but I never had a doubt that my development with Toyota Racing has led me to where I am today, and it’ll get me through the future as well,” Heim shared during Thursday’s NASCAR Championship Weekend Media Day. “So, it wasn’t a hard decision.”

This loyalty to Toyota has paid off, as the driver has enjoyed significant growth throughout his time in the series, now sitting in prime position to fight for his first championship.

Continued success and support from Tricon Garage

In addition to his success on the track, Heim has also become an invaluable asset to Tricon Garage. The general manager of Tricon Garage, Kevin Ray expressed his excitement for Heim’s continued presence with the team in 2025.

“We’re extremely fortunate to get another year with Corey. His dedication to not only the No. 11 team but the entire organization has elevated Tricon beyond measure in our team’s short history. While we’re looking forward to 2025, our priority remains on closing out this season with a victory and our program’s first championship," Ray said.

Heim’s focus on consistency, his level-headed approach to race weekends, and his gratitude toward the team have made him a fan favourite. Heading into the championship race, he is poised to make the most of his opportunities and continue his rise in the world of NASCAR.
