Petty and Burton have been in a relationship since 2017 and the couple got engaged this year itself. Petty is a graduate of High Point University and is a dancer for Dance Productions named The Remix.

After Harrison Burton finished 31st in the Quaker State 400 race, Petty shared a heartwarming picture showing her support on Instagram and the caption read as, "You & Me."

Harrison is the son of former NASCAR driver Jeff Burton. He claimed his first Cup Series victory in the second last race of the regular season and he did it at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. Surprisingly, it was the team's 100th overall victory in NASCAR.

For the upcoming season, Harrison is without a contract as his seat is taken by Stewart-Haas Racing's driver Josh Berry in the Ford Mustang. But, after a surprise win and the playoff spot secured, he might have opened doors for more opportunities.

There is some interest, says Harrison Burton

His performance in the 2024 playoff rounds will determine his future in the NASCAR Cup Series. Before winning the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona, he had just one top-ten finish.

While speaking to CBS Sports, Burton said, "I think there's definitely been some interest because of that. I think it's important to win a cup race ride and show that you can. I think what we do with this opportunity, that we're in the playoffs, will need more. So try and put our best forward. And I do feel really good about kind of where I'm at."

"I feel like I'll be a race car driver next year. So that's always good. And you know, live to fight another day. So just excited to kind of stay where we are," Burton concluded.

He is currently placed 14th in the playoff standings after his 31st-position finish in the first race of the Round of 16. He sees himself 16 points below the playoff cutline.
