Story Highlights:

Red Bull will reveal their 2025 Formula 1 car one day before the pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit.

It will be the first car designed without Adrian Newey.

Last year in the Constructions' Championship, Red Bull finished at the third spot after securing the 2022 and 2023 championships.

Red Bull Racing's 2025 Formula 1 car, which will be driven by Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson will make it's debut just one day before the pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit. The livery for the car will be revealed once the challenger makes its debut and it will be the first car designed without Adrian Newey. Newey designed all the championship-winning cars but last season he chose to part ways with Red Bull and made his way to Aston Martin.

When will the Red Bull's RB21 be revealed?

The livery for the car will be shown at the F1 75 event which will take place at the O2 arena in London on February 18th. The event will have all of the teams including the drivers and the team principals. Christian Horner along with Verstappen and Lawson will also be present there at the event.

On February 25th, RB21 will launch on the team's filming day in Sakhir, Bahrain. Verstappen will drive the car before the debutant Lawson as teams are allowed only 200km on Pirelli demonstration tyres.

The new French engineer, Pierre Wache is one who designed that car and says it was built with the intention of moving ahead in terms of performance. During last year's Belgian Grand Prix, Wache mentioned the team's thinking behind how do they want their new challenger to be like.

At the moment, the idea is to develop this concept, develop this car as much as possible.

Then, [for 2025], we evaluate the concept that we will put on track – that it will be different than [the RB20], for sure, and try to find another step of performance.

Last year in the Constructions' Championship, Red Bull finished at the third spot after securing the 2022 and 2023 championships. They only managed to score 589 points and fell short of McLaren and Ferrari.

The Dutch driver Max Verstappen is also excited towards seeing the new challenger. A different look is what Verstappen would be thinking of this year as the team has remained with the same colors since he made his debut in the pinnacle of motorsport (2016).

While making an appearance at the Talking Bull podcast last year, Verstappen mentioned that he wants something exciting. He even pointed out some of the old cars which had glossier livery.

I was actually talking about it today, I actually really like these cars as well with the shiny colour. We’ve had so many matte-blue cars, but I think sometimes it’s just nice to spice it up a little bit. [via PlanetF1]

Max Verstappen completed nine years in the sport driving for Red Bull and has four World Drivers' Championships to his name. Last year he had nine wins and 14 podiums.
