What did Joey Logano say in the video?

Logano also races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as he is associated with AM Racing's No.15 Ford Mustang. It was back in 2018 and 2022 that Joey Logano had won the championships.

In a video surfaced on the internet where different drivers from the grid answered the internet's most searched questions, Logano didn't waste time to shed light on his ethnicity.

"That’s when the first thing comes up? Well, yes, I am left-handed. Yes, I am. I turn left for a living too; it just works out. ... I’m an Italian left-handed male. That’s who I am," Logano said in the video.

Logano's Italian heritage comes from his father's side who was of an Italian descent. Last year, he tried converting his voice in Italian accent to promote his sponsor Hunt Brothers Pizza. Logano was able to win the 2024 Cup Series playoff race at Atlanta and secured his spot in the round of 12.

Joey Logano's take on the toughness of Next-Gen cars

Joey Logano spoke about the trend amongst the NASCAR drivers to be more aggressive on the track even if it takes hitting your rival. While speaking on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Logano said that Next Gen cars are designed in a way that will be equal for all drivers.

The switch from steel to carbon fibre made the cars heavier which helps them absorb the impact from bigger hits. It also helps in sustaining much of the damage.

"It's changed because of the car...The car accepts so much contact like leaning on each other is something that is just part of the game. And when you’re going down into Turn 1 and you have cars that are tougher now. The bumpers are stronger than they were," Logano said.

"Now the bumpers are bulldozers. When you go to your local little go-kart track and they got the big bumpers all the way around it, what ends up happening? You guys clobber each other. We have cars like that now; we have cars that are just tough," Logano concluded while comparing the cars to go-kart racing.
