Hook defeated the ‘Learning Tree’ Chris Jericho in the Last Chance Match at the AEW All In pay-per-view held at the Wembley Stadium in London, to win back his FTW Championship. This marks the beginning the beginning of his third reign as the FTW Champion. The match witnessed the use of many weapons like kendo sticks, barbed wire board, bins, and many more but what became a highlight was the introduction of cricket bat and ball. Chris Jericho brought in a bag full of cricket balls and filled the ring with it and later Hook introduced a cricket bat.

Jericho introduced a bag full of cricket balls and dropped them in the ring but was unable to utilise it. He tried to slam Hook on the ball but his attempt was countered and instead, Hook slammed the veteran in the ring full of cricket balls. He then came out of the ring and took out a cricket bat from underneath the ring and attacked both Bryan Keith and Big Bill with it. He later entered the ring and attacked Jericho with it. He even hit the balls with the bat towards Jericho. However, this is not the first incident in which a cricket bat was involved in a professional wrestling match. Dakota Kai and Pete Dunne have introduced this before in WWE. Dakota Kai and Pate Dunne have done that during their NXT days and Dunne also did it during the Money in the Bank 2023.
Hook and Jericho have been involved in a long rivalry. Both of them were even teaming up together before Jericho turned on Hook. Later Jericho with his Learning Tree branches Big Bill and Bryan Keith even faced the trio of Hook, Samoa Joe, and Shibata. Jericho and his branches in later weeks even managed to take all three of them separately. However, Hook whose face was burned by a fireball from Jericho returned and now has successfully won his FTW title back. It is not sure if this is the end of the long-going feud between these sides.
