Cristiano Ronaldo heads Instagram's top earner list, check Virat Kohli's position, who earns a whopping ₹ 11.45 crore per post

Global superstar and football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another feather to his illustrious collection after he was named Instagram's top earner for the third year in a row. According to a list compiled by Instagram scheduling tool Hopper HQ, the Portugal superstar and a five-time Ballon d'Or winner earns a mind-boggling sum of $3.234 million per post (approximately Rs 26.76 crore). Ronaldo's long-time rival Lionel Messi is second on the chart with a per post earning of $2.597 million (approximately Rs 21.49 crore) from Instagram.

Ronaldo is the most followed person on Instagram. The 38-year-old has a massive following and he is followed by 600 million people on the social media platform. 

A list that is dominated by celebrities has a total of four sportspersons in the top 20 and, India's superstar Virat Kohli is ranked ahead of football maestros like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. Kohli is ranked 14th on the list as the former Indian skipper earns around $1.384 million (approximately Rs 11.45 crore) per post on Instagram.

Neymar, who earns $1.141 million (approximately Rs 9.44 crore), is ranked 19th on the list while his club teammate at Paris Saith-Germain, Kylian Mbappe pockets $575,000 (approximately Rs 4.75 crore) per post on Instagram and is at 27th position on the list.

Basketball icon LeBron James is ranked slightly higher than Mbappe. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar bags $851,000 (approximately Rs 7.04 crore) per post and is ranked 24th on the list.
