Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports announced the National Sports Awards 2021 on November 2. The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind at Darbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 13, 2021. Here is a list of awards the ministry has announced. India's Tokyo Olympics bronze-medallist Hockey team's captain Manpreet Singh has been added to the list of Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna awards. Earlier he had not applied for the prestigious award because he wanted his teammate goalkeeper PR Sreejesh to get the award.
