A top source privy to the development has confirmed Sports Tak that BCCI will seek Virat Kohli's availability in the next three days.   “Since he (Virat) for two match leave we can't ask him his availability before that but yes now we have to pick rest of matches squad will certainly seek his availability. However, it's up to him whether he will play or not”.

 

Star all-rounder and pacer likely to be ruled out of entire Test series vs England

 

In a massive blow to India, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami are likely to be ruled out for the rest of the Test series. Jadeja picked up a hamstring injury in the second Test which is likely to keep him away for a few weeks.

 

T20 World Cup 2024 tickets up for grabs

 

The T20 World Cup 2024 ticket sales have finally started with the International Cricket Council (ICC) launching a public ballot system for the first time, which is now operational. T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to be played from June 1 to June 29 promises to be the largest edition of the tournament to date, featuring a record 55 matches across nine cities—six in the Caribbean and three in the United States.

 

Sports Ministry receives budget allocation of Rs. 3,442.32 crore

 

The Sports Ministry was allocated Rs 3,442.32 crore in the interim Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1. This marked a hike of Rs 45.36 crore compared to the previous year. In the previous budget, the Sports Ministry had received a revised allocation of Rs 3,396.96 crore.
