WrestleMania is making its long-awaited return to Las Vegas for the first time in 32 years.

Cody Rhodes has teased that fans can expect something unexpected at WrestleMania 41, hinting that the surprises in store will defy speculation. Since capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, many have anticipated a showdown between Rhodes and The Rock at the 2025 event.

This speculation grew after The Rock made a surprise appearance at October's Bad Blood, where he shared a moment in the ring with both Rhodes and Reigns. Before leaving, The Great One appeared to signal a three-count, leading fans to believe he was there to confront The American Nightmare, following his victory over Rhodes on Night 1 of WrestleMania 40.

However, in an interview with Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, Rhodes acknowledged the ongoing rumors but suggested that fans should prepare for something different at WrestleMania 41.

“Well, I mean, I mean this and I don’t mean this in a like a smart Alec type way, but Rock is the director of the board. The man that is The Final Boss, Dwayne Johnson, is different from The Final Boss and his outside the box thinking with Nick Khan and Triple H, is part of WWE’s record era, part of this WWE Netflix era," he said.

“Whether he’s in the ring or whether he’s not, he very much is still very involved with what happens at 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he’ll come looking for, I know what to expect. But what I can say about WrestleMania 41 is keep the rumors going, keep them churning, enjoy the discourse, but I think what you will get will surprise you all," he added.

In addition to this, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page has lauded Rhodes as a "visionary," emphasizing that Rhodes had always believed in his rise to the top of WWE, even when others were doubtful.
