Many fans are looking forward to watching the legendary Roger Federer his final tournament live when he takes the court for the 2022 Laver Cup, scheduled to take part from September 23-25 in London. Adding to the excitement is the fact that the Swiss great will be playing alongside his 'Big 4' colleagues, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray on the same team for the first and last time.
But ahead of the tournament, many of the fans face a major hiccup — the tickets, which are now seemingly the most in-demand tennis tickets in September, will is priced in the range from £26,000 to as high as £45,000, according to journalist Jon Wertheim.
In a post on Twitter, Wertheim shared some of the listings for tickets for the event that will be held at the O2 Arena in London.
However, it is still to be seen whether Federer will be a part of the squad at the event. His fitness coach Pierre Paganini, told Swiss news outlet Blick that the 20-time Grand Slam singles champion is still unsure about playing at the 02 Arena in London later this week.
“He (Federer) will probably decide that at the last moment,” Paganini said. “He’s trained to have as much information as possible about whether it’s a good idea or not. I am excited.”
