Eliminated Afghanistan face defending champions Australia in their final Super 12 match of the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Winning the toss, Afghanistan chose to bowl first, Mujeeb ur Rahman was introduced into the attack in the ninth over.

The usually economical bowler was not at his best, however, and conceded 16 runs — 1 six and 2 fours in three consecutive balls.

This is the most expensive first over for Mujeeb ur Rahman in T20I cricket, which is actually an incredible feat.

Earlier, Mujeeb conceded 15 in his first over against Ireland in 2019.

Once again in 2019, Mujeeb conceded 12 runs, this time against Zimbabwe.

He conceded 11 and 10 runs in the first over against Ireland in both matches Afghanistan played against them in 2022.

Mujeeb however bounced back in the next over to dismiss the dangerous Mitchell Marsh.

Making it to third is Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga, who scalped 36 wickets in 2021.
