Melbourne Stars batter broke the record with 16-ball fifty in the ongoing Women's Big Bash League

Here is a list of top four fastest half-centuries in women's T20 cricket

4 | Indian opener Smriti Mandhana scored an 18-ball fifty in England's T20 Super League's 2018 edition. 

3 | New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine hit an 18-ball fifty against India in 2015. 

2 | South African batter Lizelle Lee broke Devine's record with 17-ball fifty in England's T20 franchise competition in 2019.

1 | 19-year-old Tess Flintoff occupied the top spot with 16-ball 51 for Melbourne Stars against Adelaide Strikers on November 2.

Flintoff's unbeaten 51 included six fours and three sixes. She scored with a strike rate of 318.75. 

Flintoff's record-breaking 51 helped Melbourne Stars post 186/5 and beat Adelaide Strikers by 22 runs.
