Australia's Annabel Sutherland breaks records in Women's Ashes

June 24, 2023 Annabel Sutherland was the hero for Australia on Day 2 of the one-off Test against England.
She hit the fastest century by an Australian women's player in Test cricket.
She took just 148 balls to reach her century.
She remained unbeaten on 137 off 184 balls with 16 fours and a six.
Sutherland's score was also the highest score by a batter at no. 8 or lower in Tests.
Sutherland's knock ensured Australia scored 473 runs in the first innings.
She also got a wicket in England's innings, sending opener Emma Lamb back to the pavilion.
