Here's how Group 1 stands after Australia's win over Afghanistan.

New Zealand have become the first team to make the semis after they won against Ireland.

Ireland, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have been eliminated from the semi-final race.

If England beat Sri Lanka on November 04, they will qualify for the semi-finals and Australia will be eliminated.

If England lose against Sri Lanka then Australia will qualify for the semis and the Three Lions will be eliminated.

If rain plays spoilsport, then England will be eliminated and Australia will make the semis.

England have five points in four matches while Australia have seven points in five games.
