The excitement of IPL 2023 is at its peak. The tournament is witnessing constant thrilling match, entertaining the audience a lot.

In IPL 2023, players who were forgotten in the last few seasons have attracted everyone's attention.

Here is a look at some of these players and how they have fared for their teams till now.

40-year-old leggie Amit Mishra is playing for the Lucknow Super Giants, and has taken three wickets in 2 matches.

Mishra was unsold last season and was doing commentary in IPL. But this season he has so far he has an impressive economy rate of only 6.83.

34-year-old leg-spinner Piyush Chawla's story is similar to that of Mishra. He was also unsold last season and was doing commentary again. Now he is in Mumbai Indians.

Piyush has played three matches in IPL 2023 and has taken four wickets. His economy is 6.75 and was the hero of Mumbai's victory in the match against Delhi.

Fast bowler Mohit Sharma is playing IPL for the first time after 2020. Gujarat Titans bought him at the auction for Rs 50 lakh.

In the match against Punjab Kings, he took two wickets for just 18 runs and was named the player of the match.

England fast bowler Mark Wood returned to IPL after 5 years. He took 5 wickets in the very first match and won the match for the Lucknow Super Giants.

The last few seasons of IPL were bad for Ajinkya Rahane. This time he was sold in the auction for a base price of 50 lakhs but is batting well for CSK.

No one bought medium pacer Sandeep Sharma in the IPL 2023 auction. He joined the Rajasthan Royals as a replacement and bowled the last over against CSK to win his team the match.
