Virat Kohli was India's highest run-getter on Day 1 of the third Test against Australia in Indore.

He scored 22 runs as the Indians collapsed for a meagre 109 on a tough, spinner's pitch.

Kohli lost his wicket to Todd Murphy's bowling, meaning that Kohli fell to spin in four innings in the ongoing series!

Three of these were accounted for by Todd Murphy, while Matthew Kuhnemann took his wicket once in the Delhi Test.

In his Test career, Kohli has fallen to off-spin 36 times.

He has now gone 40 innings without a ton in the longest format of the game.

In fact, Kohli has failed to even hit a 50 in his last 14 innings!

He will need to be at his best if India want to turn this Test match around in the second innings.
