The country will be hosting the Women's ODI World Cup for fourth time in 2025, according to the ICC's latest FTP
The final decision was taken during the ongoing International Cricket Annual Conference in Birmingham on Tuesday, July 26.
This will be the fifth ICC Women's cricket tournament which will be hosted in India, with eight teams taking on each other
With eight teams in the mix for the coveted trophy, there will be a total of 31 fixtures in the whole tournament.
In 2024, Bangladesh will host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 between September-October, played between 10 teams.
The 2026 edition of T20 World Cup will be hosted by England for the firs time in June, with 12 teams participating in the tournament.
Sri Lanka will have a chance to host the inaugural edition of the Women's ICC Champions Trophy which will be played in the T20 format. It will be played in February 2027.
The venue for World Test Championship final will be the historic Lord's, even though England have no chance of qualifying.
New Zealand's Daniel Vettori and India's VVS Laxman have been appointed to the ICC Men's Cricket Committee as current player representatives.
