India defeated Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the first ODI on January 10 (Tuesday).
Despite winning the game, there were certain areas that the Men in Blue lacked discipline and killer instinct.
We take a look at five big problems India needs to find an answer to.
Bowling: After restricting SL to 206/8, India bowlers conceded 100 more runs in the last 73 balls without picking a wicket.
Death overs batting: India were en route to posting a total in access of 400 but could only score 79 runs in last 10 overs.
Umran Malik: The right-arm pacer bagged three wickets but conceded 57 runs in 8 overs.
Hardik Pandya: The all-rounder's batting is becoming a major concern. He has struggled to score runs consistently.
Fielding: Once again, India were lethargic on the field as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both dropped catches. The ground firlding was also poor.
