IPL 2023: A look at the injured players and which teams they affect

IPL 2023 is set to start on 31 March with the final set to be played on 28 May.

After three years, the IPL will be played in the old format, i.e home and away matches.

Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah struggling with a back injury, having recently undergone surgery.

Another Mumbai Indians pacer Jhye Richardson has been troubled by a hamstring injury.

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant was badly injured in the road accident and has undergone multiple surgeries.

Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has a stress fracture and is out of IPL 2023. He is part of the Rajasthan Royals team.

RCB all-rounder Will Jacks has suffered a thigh injury during the tour of Bangladesh.

New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson is struggling with a back injury. He is in Chennai Super Kings.

Apart from these players, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Sam Billings have decided not to play IPL this time around.
