No-ball saga continues to pester teams in IPL 2023. The 16th season has recorded a flood of no balls in the first 10 matches.

Few days back, troubled by no balls and wides, CSK captain MS Dhoni warned his bowlers to be careful or they would have to play under another captain.

Out of 16 seasons of the glitzy league, IPL 2023 has recorded the most number of no balls (21) in the first 10 matches.

The number of no balls bowled in IPL 2023 is more than 2012, 2013 and 2014's seasons combined. A total of 20 no balls were bowled in three seasons.

2301 balls have been bowled in first 10 matches of IPL 2023. Which means a no ball has been bowled per 109.6 delivery. IPL 2023 is also tops the chart in terms of per no ball bowled.

Earlier in IPL 2008, there were 19 no balls bowled in the first 10 matches, which was the highest in any season. IPL 2023 has shattered all the previous no ball records.

16 no balls were bowled in IPL 2022, 15 in 2021, 14 each in 2020 and 2015, 12 each in 2011 and 2019 and 11 in 2010.

The least number of no balls (3) were bowled in the first 10 matches of IPL 2009.

5 no balls were bowled in the first 10 matches of IPL 2013, 6 each in 2017 and 2012, 8 each in 2018 and 2016 and 9 no balls in 2014.
