The Bangladesh legend, in 31 matches, has taken 41 wickets for his team. This is the most in T20 World Cup history. 

Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi captained Pakistan at the T20 World Cup and he is second on the list with 39 wickets in the T20 World Cup.

Lasith Malinga

Sri Lanka's legendary pacer Lasith Malinga has played 31 matches at the T20 World Cup and has taken 38 wickets in the T20 World Cup. 

Saeed Ajmal

The Pakistani spinner took 36 wickets in 23 matches, moving him to fourth on this list. 4/19 runs is his best performance in the tournament.

Ajantha Mendis

Sri Lanka's mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis is fifth on this list. He took 35 wickets in 21 matches for Sri Lanka. 6/8 is his best performance.

Umar Gul

The other Pakistani on this list is the former pacer at number six. He has dismissed 35 batters in 24 matches. 5/6 are his best numbers in the tournament.

Dale Steyn

The stormy South African pacer is in seventh place. He sent 30 batters to the pavilion in 23 matches.

England fast bowler is number eighth on this list. He took the wickets of 30 players in 26 matches. 3/17 runs are his best numbers in the tournament.
