Pakistan and New Zealand will face off in a three-match ODI series.
In this format, Pakistan has a huge advantage over New Zealand at home.
Both countries have played in 20 ODIs in Pakistan. Of these, Pakistan have won 17, losing in three.
At home, Pakistan has won the last seven ODI series against New Zealand.
New Zealand last defeated Pakistan in an ODI series in Karachi back in December 1996.
In the three matches that Pakistan lost, the margin of defeat was one run, five runs and seven wickets respectively.
The first ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Karachi on 9 January.
The remaining two ODIs will be played in Karachi on 11 and 13 January respectively.
