India got themselves in a hole on a flat pitch and posted 85/3 at lunch on day one of the first Test against Bangladesh.

Former India captain and maverick batter, Virat Kohli fell to a beauty from Taijul Islam who got one to turn sharply from leg-stump.

The ball hit the back leg of the star Indian batter, trapping him in front of the stumps.

Kohli walked back to the pavilion after scoring just one run in five balls.

If you take a closer look at Kohli's average, it suggests that the Indian batter is enduring his 3rd worst year in Test cricket.

The right-handed batter is averaging 27.62 in Tests matches in 2022.

Kohli's worst year in Test cricket came in 2020 when he averaged just 19.33 with the bat.

Kohli's second-worst year in Test cricket came in 2011 when he averaged 22.44 with the bat.
