Pakistan and New Zealand will lock horns in the first semi-final of the 2022 T20 World Cup on November 09. 

The high-voltage semi-final will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). 

New Zealand topped Group 1 with seven points while Pakistan finished runners-up in Group 2 with six points.

In T20Is, Pakistan and New Zealand have played 28 matches against each other, with the former winning 17 games compared to the latter's 11 wins. 

In T20 World Cups, Pakistan have defeated New Zealand four times, while the Kiwis have registered two wins versus the Men in Green. 

In the last five T20Is between the two sides, Pakistan have won four matches while New Zealand could win only one game. 

Mohammad Hafeez holds the record for scoring the most runs (99) in an innings vs New Zealand.

In terms of wickets, Tim Southee (28) has bagged the most scalps in T20Is between Pakistan and New Zealand.
