Shaheen Afridi joins Pakistan bowling stalwart during 1st Sri Lanka Test

July 16, 2023 Pakistan and Sri Lanka started their first Test in Galle on Sunday, July 16.
In the first session itself, Shaheen Afridi took the wicket of opener Nishan Madushka (4).
This wicket added Afridi to a personal-new record, becoming the fourth-fastest Pakistan pacer to reach 100 wickets.

Wasim Akram was the first Pakistan pacer to reach 100 Test wickets at the age of 23.
Waqar Younis was the second Pakistan pacer to reach 100 Test wickets at the age of 23.
Shaheen Afridi is now the third Pakistan pacer to reach 100 Test wickets at the age of 23.
He is also the 19th Pakistan bowler to reach 100 wickets.
