Pragyan Ojha

Ojha played his first T20I match against Bangladesh at the 2009 T20 World Cup. The left-arm spinner bowled 4/21 to help India to a winning start.

Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar made his debut during the T20 World Cup 2010 and played his first game against Sri Lanka in the Super 8 stage of the event.

Another Indian player who made his T20I debut in the ICC T20 World Cup 2010 was Piyush Chawla in the match where Raina smashed a ton.

Murali Vijay

Murali Vijay earned a place in the India squad after his performances for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He also started off at the 2010 T20 World Cup.

At the 2014 T20 World Cup, MS Dhoni decided to include debutant Mohammed Shami in the playing XI for the big match against arch-rivals Pakistan.
