Team India's injury woes continue as 4 star players out of WTC final

April 4, 2023 The Indian cricket team have set their sights on the all-important World Test Championship final against Australia which will be played in June 2023.
The WTC 2021-2023 final will be played at the Oval in England. But right ahead of the high-octane clash Team India is grappled by series of injury woes.
Three important players of the Indian team have been ruled out of the WTC final which will only dent Rohit Sharma's brigade's chances of winning the title.
India's star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant was the first to be ruled out of the WTC final. He met with a horrific car accident and is yet to be recovered by the series of serious injuries.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was the second Indian player to be ruled out of WTC final as he troubled by recurring back injury.
Bumrah underwent a surgery to for his back injury. As his recovery will take time he will now be able to return only at the time of 2023 World Cup.
Shreyas Iyer is the latest to be ruled out of WTC final. He is also troubled by a back injury.
Shreyas has also decided to undergo surgery which means he will not be able to play cricket for at least three months.
Another Indian player who could miss the WTC final is Prasidh Krishna as he is also grappled with a back injury.
