India's T20 WC squad

Let's have a look at the Team India's 15-member strong squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup which is slated to start from October 16 in Australia.

This will be India skipper Rohit Sharma's first ICC tournament where he'll be leading the side. Rohit's performance in T20I format speaks volume and he look to grab the title in the 1st shot.

India's opener KL Rahul will be seen in Rohit's deputy role. Earlier struggling with the form after returning from injury, Rahul has got his mojo back with a brilliant show in SA series.

India's flamboyant batter Suryakumar Yadav has time and again proved his prowess with the bat, specially in T20Is. His knack of hitting sixes is enough to blow any team in T20 WC.

Deepak Hooda is considered as the lucky charm of Team India. Ever since he has come to the fold, India have won in almost all the matches. Hooda's presence in the middle order has bolstered India.

Rishabh Pant's power-hitting ability is known to everyone. Although he is going through a patch form, but he has the potential to snatch victory for the team from the jaws of defeat.

Dinesh Karthik's has been included in India's squad which has marked the most spectacular comeback in cricket history. Karthik, who was on brink of retirement, cracked whip with the bat in the IPL, which paved his path for the Team India.

Gripped by the injury woes Hardik Pandya couldn't play cricket for a while. But his sensational comeback which saw him lifting IPL 2022 title, landed him again in the India fold. The star all-rounder is a real match winner for Team India.
