Mumbai Indians bowler Saika Ishaque has taken the batters in the Women's Premier League for a spin.

Ishaque has played three games so far, taking nine wickets and is leading the highest wicket-taker list.

Ishaque was bought for Rs 10 lakhs by Mumbai Indians in the WPL auction.

The left-arm spin bowler was away from the game for two years because of a shoulder injury.

Like the rest of India's women cricketers, Saika also started playing with boys.

Her father played an important role in Saika becoming a cricketer. But he died when she was young.

Saika took 4 wickets in her very first WPL match. She took two wickets against RCB, and three more against Delhi in the next two games.

Jhulan Goswami helped Saika a lot during her career and the spinner considers her a role model.

Mumbai Indians is her favourite team and Suryakumar Yadav is her favourite cricketer.
