England ended the Indian team's T20 World Cup journey after defeating them by 10 wickets in the semi-finals.

With this defeat, the wait for India to win the T20 World Cup has been postponed by at least two years.


Meanwhile, two Indian players were kept on the sideline throughout the World Cup.

The first name among them is Yuzvendra Chahal, with the leg spinner not getting a single match.

Yuzvendra Chahal was India's most successful T20 spinner in 2022. He also played warm-up matches before the World Cup.

Yuzvendra Chahal could not even play in the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Fast bowler Harshal Patel also didnt play the World Cup despite being in named in the squad.

Harshal Patel was selected as the death overs specialist bowler in the Indian team.

He played 21 T20I matches for India in 2022 and took 22 wickets. His economy was 9.39.
