Kohli played the second T20 World Cup in 2014 in which he scored 319 runs at an impressive average of 106.33 with 4 fifties.
Kohli's bat roared once again in the 2016 T20 World Cup in which he scored 273 runs in five matches at a strike rate of 136.50.
2021 T20 World Cup did not go well for Kohli with the bat as he could only score 68 runs in three matches at an average of 34.
In the upcoming T20 World Cup, Kohli will look to carry the Asia Cup's momentum as he will play an important role in India's success in the marquee tournament.
