Women's T20 World Cup: Can the Indians break the Australian hold on THIS record?

The Women's T20 World Cup will kick off on February 10.

Ahead of the mega event, we take a look at the seven different winners of the Player of the Tournament. 

In 2009, England's Claire Taylor was the winner of this award with 199 runs to her name. 

Nicola Browne of New Zealand bagged 9 wickets and this award in the 2010 edition. 

The 2012 winner was England's former skipper Charlotte Edwards, having scored 172 runs.

It was an Englishwoman in 2014 once again, with Anya Shrubsole's 13 wickets getting her this award. 

West Indies star Stafanie Taylor led her team to victory in 2016, with 246, 8 wickets and the award to her name. 

Winning the trophy in 2018, Australia's Alyssa Healy scored 225 runs and the Player of the Tournament award. 

In 2020, it was Australia's Beth Mooney, with her 259 runs, who won this prestigious award.
