WTC Standings 

Let's take a look at the World Test Championships (WTC) standings after England registered a 2-1 series win over South Africa.

With 16 points, Bangladesh are in the ninth position. They have just one win in 10 Test matches during in 2021-23 cycle. 

With 28 points, New Zealand occupies the eighth position. The Black Caps have won two matches in nine attempts.

With 88 points, England sits in the seventh position. The Three Lions have won seven out of their 19 matches in the ongoing WTC cycle. 

7 | England 

With 54 points, West Indies are sixth on the WTC standings. They have won four of their nine matches so far. 

6 | West Indies 

With 56 points, Pakistan are fifth on the WTC standings. Babar Azam's side has won four of their nine matches. 

5 | Pakistan 

With 75 points, India are placed in the fourth position. Rohit Sharma's side has won six of their 12 matches so far. 

4 | India 

With 64 points, Sri Lanka are third on the WTC standings. The Lankan Lions have won five of their 10 matches so far. 

3 | Sri Lanka 

Despite losing the Test series against England, South Africa are second in the standings with 72 points. They have won six of their 10 matches. 

2 | South Africa 

With 84 points, Australia tops the chart, Pat Cummins' side has won six of their 10 fixtures in the ongoing WTC cycle.
