Young stars shining in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Many young stars have been displaying their talents in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament.

CSK batter Ruturaj Gaikwad is the leading run-scorer in the tournament, with 276 runs in 4 games for Maharashtra.

The Maharashtra skipper's incredible runs include 2 centuries — against 114 in 68 balls vs Kerala and 112 in 65 vs Services. 

He might not be in contention for Team India but has lit the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with his batting. 

Prithvi Shaw's name is also making the rounds for his exceptional performances in the domestic tournament. 

Despite not playing for India, Prithvi has been sizzling for Mumbai in domestic circles. 

The youngster has scored 269 runs in five matches and has accumulated a staggering strike rate of 190 for Mumbai.

Tilak Verma, of Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, is among the star players, with 249 runs in five games. 

Meanwhile, Yash Dhull, who captained India at the U-19 World Cup, has 245 runs in his five matches for Delhi.
