Young Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has already staked his claim as the best striker in the Premier League this season.
In the month of August itself, Haaland scored nine goals for Manchester City. However, this is not the most number of goals in a month!
Topping this list is former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan forward scored 10 goals in the December of 2013 to take the top spot.
The Manchester City striker is on fire this season, with his contributions including two consecutive hat-tricks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
Third on this list is Mark Viduka. The former Australian international played for Leeds United and Newcastle United and scored eight goals in April 2003.
The next two spots on this list belong to Tottenham Hotspur frontman Harry Kane, who was in fine form in 2017 for his team.
In the final month of the 2016-17 season, Kane scored eight goals for Tottenham as his team finished second on the points table.
Kane completed this feat for a second time in the December of 2017. He scored eight goals for Tottenham during a tough run of matches.
Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling and West Ham's Michail Antonio round off the list with an equal number of goals scored in July 2020.
Sterling was still with Manchester City, when he, along with Antonio, scored eight goals for their respective teams in the PL 2020-21 season.
