In his five-edition long World Cup career, Ronaldo played 22 games, scoring 8 goals and assisting 2 more. 




During his long World Cup career, the Portugal skipper set many records.




At 33 years and 130 days, Ronaldo became the oldest player to score a World Cup hat-trick: In 2018 vs Spain. 





He has also scored in the Most World Cups — 5.





Ronaldo's 22 World Cup games is the most for a Portuguese player. 




Portugal’s 2nd top scorer at the World Cup with 8 goals is Ronaldo, one behind Eusebio.

In the 2022 edition, he only started three of the five games, scoring one goal.
