Five reasons for Argentina's win over France

Argentina won the FIFA World Cup for the third time by defeating France in the final of the 2022 edition.


Argentina earlier won the coveted trophy in 1978 and 1986 as well.



Talking about the match, after a 3-3 draw, Argentina won the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

Here, we take a look at five reasons for Argentina's victory in what was definitely an exciting match.



Argentina again fielded in a 4-4-2 diamond formation, which earlier helped them defeat Croatia in the semis.



Messi's magic continued and he scored two goals -- first a penalty, and then a brilliant goal from open play.

Argentina's defence looked very strong in the match and allowed France to take only 10 shots in the entire match.
