Lionel Messi will be captaining Argentina at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar for the very last time.

The PSG forward has played 19 games in the four World Cup matches that he has played with Argentina.

In these matches, Messi has scored six goals and assisted five.

His best tournament in the FIFA World Cup was in 2014, when he score four goals on the way to the final.

Messi also won the Golden Ball in that tournament, as the Albiceleste lost to Germany by one goal.

He scored once in 2006 Germany, and another in the 2018 edition of the tournament, hosted by Russia.

More recently, the FIFA 23 World Cup simulation chose Argentina as their predicted winner. It has not been wrong in the last three predictions.

This is the last time that Messi can win the World Cup.

Australia's star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh played a scintillating innings in 2021 T20 WC final and clinched the Man of the Match award.
