The legend that is Pele

The Brazilian legend has many records to his name, but one will take some time to break

He is the only player to have won three Worlds Cups — In 1958, 1962 and 1970.

His first win (in 1958) came when the legend was just 17 years old!

By the 1962 World Cup, Pele was already the highest rated player, but an injury in the second game ruled him out for rest of the tournament! Brazil still went all the way

After a dismal 1966 World Cup, Pele returned to his best in 1970 as Brazil returned to winning ways in what was also his last World Cup

Pele has played for only two clubs during his career — Santos FC, New York Cosmos. He is now an advocate for the game.
