Manchester United are currently in a tug-of-war for new owners.

Their current owners, the Glazers family, are on their way out after fans' discontentment.

The two key buyers are Sheikh Jassim of Qatar and INEOS owner Jim Ratcliffe.

While Sheikh Jassim’s entourage wanted a complete takeover, Ratcliffe have offered to buy a 25% stake.

After Sheikh Jassim's bid was turned bid, he has now withdrawn from the process.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to have control of football/sporting operations.

This will happen after vote of 25% minority stake is confirmed.

Jassim offered to clear all old debt, with zero new debt for 100% of the club, but bid was declined.
