India will look to end their 47-year trophy drought when the country hosts the 2023 Hockey World Cup.
The global tournament will feature 16 teams competing for the prestigious title across 44 matches.
The competition will be staged in Odisha in two cities - Bhubaneshwar and Rourkela.
All 44 matches will be played across two stadiums - Kalinga stadium and Birsa Munda stadium.
International Hockey Federation (FIH) has short-listed 18 umpires for officiating the tournament in Odisha.
India will have two of their own umpires officiating the 2023 Hockey World Cup matches.
22-year veteran Raghu Prasad is one of the Indian umpires who will officiate the matches in Odisha.
20-year veteran Javed Shaikh is the second Indian umpire who will take charge of matches at the 2023 Hockey World Cup.
