Players with the most goals across all editions of the Hockey World Cup

Before the Hockey World Cup 2023 kicks off in India, at look the top scorers in across all of the mega event!

Netherlands player Paul Litjens scored 15 goals in the 1978 World Cup, the most till date.

India's Rajinder Singh comes second with his 12 goals in the 1982 World Cup.

Jay Stacey of Australia in number three with his 11 goals in the 1998 World Cup.

Taeke Taekema of the Netherlands has also scored 11 goals. He did this feat during the 2006 World Cup.

Four names are tied on fourth spot. In the 1994 World Cup, Taco van den Honert of the Netherlands scored 10 goals.

Pakistan's Sohail Abbas and Argentina's Jorge Lambi scored 10 goals each in the 2000 World Cup in Malaysia.

In the 2014 World Cup held in the Netherlands, Argentina's Gonzalo Peillat scored 10 times.
